Clean Slate

2011.

A new year; a new decade.

I can't wait to see the adventures this year will hold.

The years go by fast don't they? I have been realizing this more and more. I'm doing my best to cherish every moment; to love my life and the people around me...while I'm here. Scripture says life is a vapor. Why not do the very best we can with what we have where we are instead of always looking toward the next step?

2011 Resolutions:

*Run 5 miles (at one time:)
*Grow something I can eat (ie: vegetables)
*Pay off my two credit cards...working on being debt free (sidenote: Dave Ramsey is revolutionizing my life right now. Read his book, "The Total Money Makeover")
*Move into a role at work that uses more of my natural skills
*Learn more Scripture (I'm participating in the 'Siesta Scripture Memory' through Beth Moore's ministry. Check it out ladies!
*Finish decorating my little house. Actually, 'finish' is a strong word. Haha
*Make social justice more of a priority (still praying about what this will look like)
