2011 looks like it will be a(nother) year of weddings in my life. I am attending four this year that I know of at this point. Because of my age/status in life, I am invited to and involved in a large number of weddings. I’m pretty sure I have been a bridesmaid six times and have sang at around twelve weddings so far. But enough about me... :) Weddings just happen to be a wonderful excuse to buy a dress. Since I am not a bridesmaid in any weddings this year at this point, I’ll just be attending as a guest, which means a new dress is definitely in order!
While searching for dresses, I noticed a little bit of a theme. Pretty much everything I love involves the color navy. What in the world? I just love this deep blue. It reminds me of the ocean...or Neil Caffrey’s eyes (White Collar anyone?)...haha.
Honestly, I’m not sure why I like it so much but I’m definitely drawn to it. Here are some lovely examples:
Modcloth.com has some LOVELY dresses. They are a little pricey for my taste but really fun to save up for/dream about. :)
